Johnny Cash in Delaware

The Johnny Cash Experience will be performing this Sunday, June 26th @ 6:30pm
in the beautiful Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE.

David Stone Ryan IS the man in black in this tribute ensemble of exceptional performers.  I was lucky enough to catch them years ago @ The Lighthouse in Dewey Beach, Delaware.  This is not to be missed, these guys are TIGHT!

Sentimental in the Borough

The Next Day Update: 06/23/11

Last night was a sentimental one in the borough of West Chester.  John Grecia was playing a night heavy on the Springsteen in celebration of the late Clarence Clemons at Pietro's Prime on Market.  Down the street, a large 'Jackass' entourage, dressed in black, were mourning Ryan Dunn from Side Bar to Barnaby's with a caravan of news vans close at hand.

Sentimental, yes.  Quiet, no.  The Piano "sounded like a carnival", The Phils played on the TV's and Erica, my favorite bartender for years, poured delicious concoctions.  The masterpiece of the night?  An orange cream-cicle martini to die for! Kudos! 

I'm sending out much love and good thoughts to those who have lost their loved ones.

A Shore Bet - Commodore Fish Dish

This rock band really serves up the music!

Commodore Fish Dish (weird name, I know) will be playing @ Merryfield's Bar on the White Horse Pike in

Oaklyn, NJ this Saturday, June 25th, 2011 from 9:30pm - 1:30am.  

 

A great local sports bar, with "kick *ss food", that's also family friendly.

So bring the kids and enjoy the music and share a little beginning of summer happiness!
